COVID related FAQ

If positive for COVID-19, regardless of vaccination status, isolate for at least 5 days until symptoms are gone. Continue to wear a mask for 5 days after isolation. Not required by law, but to keep other children and staff safe, please take a test before returning to school.

Whether you are vaccinated or not, if you or your child tested positive for COVID-19, do not go to school, notify the school, and stay at home except to get medical care until at least 5 days have passed since symptoms first appeared; AND at least 24 hours have passed since last fever without use of fever-reducing medicine; AND symptoms have improved. Student may return to school if and when all of the conditions have been met. Not required by law, but to keep other children and staff safe, please take a test before returning to school.

a. For not boosted or not vaccinated

1. Get tested immediately, even if not having symptoms

2. Quarantine for 5 days

3. Wear a mask for 5 days after quarantine

4. Get tested on day 5

b. For vaccinated close contacts

1. If you do not have any symptoms, you do no need to stay at home

2. Wear a mask for 10 days

3. Get tested on day 5

Please show proof of a negative test result, taken before returning to school.
